HELPING SENIORS ENJOY LIFE
Charmouth Village People has been set-up to provide quality activities for seniors living in Charmouth. We want to help build a strong community and to promote health, welfare and independence among those older citizens in our community.
Already we have provided a range of activities and fun events and will be planning further events during the coming year. To see pictures from some 2017 events click here. To see further events please go to our calendar here and come back often to view our future plans. |

River Trip! Wednesday September 19th (All Welcome Aboard!)
We're really pleased to offer this trip from Charmouth on Wednesday 19th September leaving at 10:00am opposite the church and returning by approx. 5:30pm. Fare including travel on the pleasure boat Southern Comfort is £20.
Our Sewards coach will collect passengers from the church and Bridge Road bus stop before leaving for Exeter Canal Basin to meet our boat for 11:30am departure. The boat staff can accommodate mild disability and rollators.
A leisurely trip up river will land us at Double Locks, where the lunch menu is available or you can take a packed lunch. We will have plenty of time to continue our relaxing day before boarding our boat for the return journey to Exeter Basin.
On the way home we will make a comfort stop at a mystery venue and for afternoon tea at your leisure. Do join us on a day away from routine in great company.
For more information, to book a seat or have any questions. Please contact Jan (01297 561059) or Liz (01297 560422).
